Hello Brittany, for those who might not know you please let us know you are and please describe yourself?

The name is Miss Brittany Andrews. Jill of all trades and Mistress of a few. Been in the biz for over 25 years. Producer/Director/Model/Actress/DJ/Remixer/Dominatrix and Real Estate.

What prompted you to join the adult industry?

I started off as a stripper in the early 90s. After about a year, I started feature dancing. That eventually led to me getting into magazines like High Society and Swank. It was on a trip to Jamaica for Spring Break to shoot for one of these magazines that I met Jenna Jameson. We were rooming together on the trip and I mentioned that I was thinking about doing movies. She told me that I could move in with her in LA if I was so inclined. So, I ended up packing up and moving to LA and the rest is herstory.

You have recently come back for several scenes on Brazzers, many of which have already been released, what was the thought process like that lead you to decide to come back to performing and are you planning to keep going?

I had retired in 2006 and moved to NYC and decided to go to film school. I did 3 years at the New York Film Academy on Park. I was Producing mainstream independent films for quite a few years. I had success in that area with films of mine, premiering at the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance and the like. Won quite a few awards however independent filmmaking is known to be a hobby for the rich as quite often there’s not a very good ROI. So, after that stint, I went back to school for music and started DJing and Producing tracks.

After about 8 years of NYC, I was over the cost of living in New York, so I decided to move to Vegas. On the East Coast, there wasn’t much of an adult scene so when I moved to the west coast, I decided to put my toe back into the water with shooting. However, during the time that I was gone, it went from being difficult to being condoms only, to being impossible to being condoms only.

I had been condoms only for over 20 years and I was not comfortable with shooting without condoms as I have multiple autoimmune diseases and at the moment, they were still not testing for all STDS. I really just did not want to risk getting anything on top of my autoimmune disorders. However, when I found out that they started testing for almost everything, I started thinking that perhaps maybe I would consider going non-condom. I played around with the idea and finally jumped into the water. The MILF genre is HOT right now and I’m a HOT MILF. So, fuck it – I thought now or never.

You also recently released After Porn Ends 3. What I like about this series is that the former performers are given a platform to tell their story, good or bad, with little interference from the editor. Was that the idea behind this series from the start or did it evolve as you interviewed people?

They brought me as they wanted to get the story behind the story. As a performer I knew a lot of the canned responses that we gave for everything and they wanted somebody that could speak their own language and get underneath those canned responses. I was brought in for the third one, so it already had an established structure. However, I felt the series has really evolved from its beginnings. I was not a huge fan of the first one as I felt it had some negative perspectives on the business from people that I didn’t really respect their voice. I think it’s important to tell the stories of the talent as truthfully as possible whether it a sad story or a funny one. However, the overall tone of the film I did feel it was important to be sex worker positive, which I felt the one I directed really had a streamlined message in that direction with a lot of the transitional interviews of active adult film stars today. However, it’s still allowed the viewer to make up their mind what they felt about the industry as a hole based upon the truthful stories of the subjects that we interviewed.

Who have been your favorite subjects up to this point and why?

Alexandra Silk and Luc Wylder’s dog. Kidding, a little. Seriously though, I really enjoyed creating Alexandra and Luc’s segment. I worked hard to have them on the film. I had wanted the public to see a very healthy couple in adult that have been together for a very long time. Many times, the civilian world thinks that sex workers cannot have healthy, happy relationships. I also loved the fact, that we were able to bring in some great footage of 1970s Times Square in Manhattan. I felt it gave the film a lot of character, texture and depth. Also, they had a lot of their own originally produced content that added a lot of production value to the film as they had shot in many exotic locations. Plus, they just had this overwhelming message of love and acceptance, that I felt permeated throughout the film, giving it in overall good, fuzzy, positive feeling

Are you planning on doing more and if so, who are some of the people you’d want to have on future installments?

There have been discussions, but nothing is for certain as of yet.

I know you are into DJing as well. Are you still doing that on a regular basis and how is it going if you are?

I am still doing it; in fact, I have had a few recent Vegas gigs and have another one setup at Spearmint Rhino in San Jose on July 26th.

Seeing that you have been around the industry since the 90s, what changes have you seen, both positive and negative?

When I first started, they were still shooting on 35mm and I saw the transition to video and eventually digital. With the rise of the digital age though comes analytics which are now driving what is being shot and I think that is an issue.

Another issue is that I feel that porn has moved into more and more misogynistic scenes over the years. Not that porn was overly romantic or soft in the past, but it was more centered on the woman’s desire and making her look beautiful and I feel that a lot of porn nowadays is overly violent towards women.

What would be your advice be for someone who is thinking about getting into the adult industry?

My #1 piece of advice has always been the same. Know your boundaries as stepping over them creates mental health and esteem issues for talent. There’s been so many deaths in the business recently and as a veteran in this business my main concern for talent is healthy mental health and positive self-esteem. If you’re going to push boundaries DO IT SLOW! As it’s not a sprint – it’s a marathon. To have true longevity in this business – don’t play all your cards in the first year. Slow down, take your time. Your body, mind, soul, career will thank you later

If money wasn’t an issue, what would be your dream scene or movie to make?

Imagine a few early Lady Gaga music videos and you have a good idea of what is inside my head. when it comes to my dream scene. Latex, Fetish, Fashion, Black and White – all makes my cunt wet AF!

Who would you say are the people you really want to work with but haven’t had the chance to as of yet?

Unfortunately, I don’t really know any of the new people, but my fans really want me to work with Dredd. I’m slowly working my way up to that.

If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Stephen Hawking. I’m just really into physics and talking to him would just be mind blowing. Add Deepak Chopra to the mix and well, there you go. That’s my shit right there.

What sort of things do you like to do when you aren’t working? Any hobbies?

I like to read. I spend a lot of my reading time on physics and spirituality. I am a newbie in the world of Witchcraft, however enjoying that direction of my current studies. I’m a bit of a nerd. Homebody workaholic that likes to read and play with all my filmmaking and DJ gadgets. I also volunteer with animal rescue in Vegas as I’m in love with all furry mystical creatures.

Are there any projects or special events coming up that you would like to promote, if so, please do so?

Well right now, I am Producing my second Off Broadway theatre production in NYC with LiveNation. We are currently in pre-production at the moment.

I have also recently signed a deal with CandyCam Studios here in Vegas, a high-end production and live streaming studio space. We are kicking the deal off June 14th with my “Brittany’s Bitch Boys” series, which I’m shooting for my OnlyFans. I have a few other segments I’ll be producing as well – “The After Party” which will be live interviews with some of today’s top adult film stars and ” In the Mix” which will be interviews with various DJs here in Vegas along with them spinning sets in studio for live streaming.

Then of course there is the upcoming DJ gig at Spearmint Rhino in San Jose.

And if you are planning on moving to Vegas, hit me up because I also sell real estate in Vegas/

Jill of All Trades and a Mistress of a Few, cause that’s how Miss B rolls.
